At SoNo Design Lab, we believe a brand is more than a logo — it’s an experience. Founded by creative director Sophie Noah Barenberg, the studio brings together artistry, strategy, and storytelling to help clients shine. When Shallow End Strategies — a bold new venture transforming shipping containers into high-end residential and commercial spaces — was ready to launch, they turned to SoNo Design Lab to build their brand from the ground up.
Sophie and her team worked closely with the founders to define a distinctive identity that captured the company’s mix of industrial roots and modern design. From logo creation and color palette selection to website design, copywriting, and social media strategy, every element was crafted to position Re-Framed It as a leader in container-based architecture.
The result? A cohesive, memorable brand that communicates innovation, quality, and style — and helped transform Shallow End Strategies roll out Re-Framed It make an immediate impact in the market. Today, the brand’s strong visual presence and clear messaging continue to drive interest from both residential and commercial clients.

Sophie Noah Barenberg is the founder and creative director of SoNo Design Lab, where she blends a sharp eye for design with a strategist’s mindset. Currently a student at The University of Texas at Austin, Sophie is part of the Texas Creative program — one of the nation’s top advertising and creative tracks — and a member of UT’s Business Entrepreneurs Fraternity (ENT), where she collaborates with other driven innovators.
What sets Sophie apart is her ability to dive deep into new industries, quickly mastering the details to deliver results that resonate. When she partnered with the founders of Re-Framed It, she immersed herself in the world of container architecture — researching trends, studying market competitors, and translating complex concepts into a clear, compelling brand identity.
Even as a college student, Sophie approaches each project with the discipline and insight of a seasoned professional. Her work is grounded in research, elevated by creative vision, and focused on building brands that connect authentically with their audiences.
